Ivvavik National Park
Ivvavik National Park is located approximately 200 km east of Inuvik. There is evidence that human habitation can be dated back 30 000 years. The remains of eight distinct cultures have been discovered by archaeologists. The Firth River is rated as difficult by canoers and kayakers.

Herschel Island Territorial Park
Herschel Island is located in the Beaufort Sea, off the Yukon's north coast. Several species of birds and wildlife frequent the area once inhabited by prehistoric hunters and fishers. Enjoy hiking, camping, photography and wildlife viewing. Visitors to the park are advised to carry all necessary equipment, clothing and supplies as there are limited services.
